More trades came in today! This time it's even more from Frosted, and one from Lets Just Drive is MKabolin.
From Frosted came... Bubble wrapped potatoes?
After some investigation (read careful cutting), this '56 Chevy came out of the first!
It's rival brother, a '56 Ford came in another potato.
And out of the last spud rumbled this lifted K-1500!
From MKabolin (and Canada) came this sweet Stratos!
This is the aftermath of it's release.

I can't figure out if most people would be upset if their hot wheels arrived with smashed plastic. So I was trying to find a way to package them that didn't cost me $6 a piece to ship. Cause I don't have $18...

If it helps, I use envelopes with bubble wrap inside. Cars on their card I usually just put straight in the envelope. Looses ones I wrap with bubble wrap and then put in the envelope.

Wrap 'em in one or two layers of bubble wrap and put them in a padded manilla envelope. Costs 2.30~ per package and I have yet to get a complaint about my packaging.

Glad you got everything quickly! I was a bit hesitant on the ford because of the paint but figured you'd probably still not mind having it. Could always repaint it if ya wanted to. The '56 Chevy was also a little gift, found it in my bin and decided against posting it in a HWEP post, sent it to you knowing your love for older Chevy trucks.
Also that Lancia is dope.

The Ford is cool, you hardly even notice the respray attempt haha. And I didn't expect the Task Force! It's pretty sweet.

Indeed, I shipped out one car in a flat rate box and thought never again, then I tried again with just a padded envelope. Works fine but some extra bubble wrap is good for extra protection.

When the 40 gallon rubber maid full of hot wheels comes outta the attic, there'll probably be more little gifts for people I trade with constantly ;)
